Has anyone opted out of using a traditional changing table? I'm trying to minimize the amount of furniture in our nursery, and I'm wondering if a dresser with a changing pad on top would work just as well. Are there any potential downsides to this setup, or does it work fine in practice? Would love to hear about any alternative solutions you've tried that save space but are still practical for frequent diaper changes. Also, how do you secure the pad to make sure it's safe?
