Hi everyone, I’m new to this forum and trying to wrap my head around parenting as a single mom-to-be. I’ve been reading a lot about how kids turn out when raised by one parent, and I’m super confused about the real impacts-both the tough stuff that might hurt them emotionally or otherwise, and the things that can really help make it positive. Like, does the lack of a second parent automatically mean more behavioral issues, or is it more about how we handle the daily stuff? What experiences have you had, either as a single parent or from your own childhood? I’d love if folks could share specific examples or tips that helped (or didn’t) so I can learn from this-I’m all ears and appreciate any straightforward advice!
