Hi everyone, I’m a brand new dad-my little guy is just 3 weeks old-and I’m thrilled but honestly so confused about this whole “dad role” thing. Like, I change diapers okay and do the midnight rock-a-bye, but how do you actually bond with a newborn who mostly just sleeps and eats? I read online about skin-to-skin and talking to them, but it feels awkward when he’s not responding. Is that normal for us guys at first? What simple things helped you feel more connected early on? Would love your stories and tips-thanks! 😊
