I expected those first few poops on the toilet to mean we were moving past the accidents for good, but now my three year old won’t even sit down without asking for a diaper first. He holds it until he can’t anymore and then gets upset if I suggest trying the potty anyway. We brought the little step stool back out and tried letting him pick which bathroom to use, but he just shakes his head and walks away.
