Mornings drag into arguments and delays.
Tried putting the backpack and shoes by the door the night before so there’d be less to hunt for, but then the oldest started insisting the shoes were on the wrong feet even though they weren’t. Ended up with both kids refusing to touch anything until I fixed it.
